CommitContext is a service that allows users to track GitHub repository updates and receive notifications via RSS/Atom feeds. The Service fetches publicly available information from GitHub's API.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must not share your account credentials with others
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Subscription Plans

We offer free and paid subscription plans:

  • Free: Limited to 5 repository subscriptions
  • Pro: Unlimited repositories and additional features
  • Team: Team collaboration features
  • Enterprise: Custom solutions for organizations

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. You may cancel at any time, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use automated systems to access the Service beyond normal usage
  • Violate GitHub's Terms of Service or API usage policies
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by CommitContext. You retain ownership of any content you submit. By using the Service, you grant us a license to use your content as necessary to provide the Service.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including GitHub and Stripe. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of data from GitHub.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CommitContext shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
